They are seasonal, tasty, very fast and the right choice if you don't feel like preparing something complicated. I think it's the easiest to prepare something like that. Because I hadn't made potatoes in a long time and because my time for preparing yesterday's dinner was extremely limited, I found this wonderful solution. The preparation is trivial, very well known and available to everyone & # 8230I don't think there is anyone who hasn't prepared something like this (that's why I thought it shouldn't be exemplified too much with pictures). The new potatoes are extremely good, sweeter, fluffier & # 8230and if properly prepared and flavored & # 8230 they are wonderful. My "secret" ingredient is in this case the garlic & # 8230but better to tell you, maybe you will be inspired a little more from here.

Ingredients (4 servings)

  • 4 chicken legs (I always make an extra portion, because & # 8230 you never know & # 8230)
  • about 1 kg smaller new potatoes
  • 8-10 garlic cloves
  • 8-10 peppercorns
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon spice mixture, especially for chicken (or as preferred)
  • 1 teaspoon rosemary (fresh or dried)
  • 4 - 5 tablespoons olive oil
  • salt, pepper (to taste)

Method of preparation

-Clean and wash the chicken legs well, season (salt, pepper, mixture of spices for chicken, paprika) and grease with olive oil.

-Meanwhile, wash the new potatoes very well in several waters.

-Place the washed potatoes (I preferred them whole, but if you want, you can cut them in half) and thighs (including the remaining olive oil in the bowl) in the tray to be prepared.

-Add whole garlic cloves or cut in half, peppercorns, sprinkle with rosemary and sprinkle the thighs and potatoes with a little olive oil.

-Cover the tray with aluminum foil and place it in the oven heated to about 200 ° C for about 30 & # 8211 40 minutes (depending on the oven).

-After 30 & # 8211 40 minutes, remove the foil and leave it in the oven for another 15 minutes, until the potatoes and thighs are nicely browned.
